Love conquers fear

I have mixed emotions at this time of global fear. It's like the world has finally opened up their eyes to see that sickness, disease and death is actually real. Like it is something new. Where has everyone been living?

For generations people have faced, incurable disease and countless life destroying health issues, fatal accidents and more. The medical profession don't claim to cure or heal disease - they say they only hope to control or seek to manage it. There are many diseases in the world today that doctors do not know the cause or the cure. Have we become 'immune' to the fact that people are dying everyday. That families are being destroyed with the outcome of stress and disease. Many people CAN'T leave their home for so many different reasons before this virus was heard about. Many have been isolated and can't face life for years.

I understand the real threat of this virus, but as with every other sickness and disease - the Children of God Trust God as their Healer. Jesus is Still the Healer of ALL sicknesses and diseases (NO MATTER WHAT IT'S NAME IS) Jesus is the Prince of Peace. The Revelation of HIS Love is still the only thing that casts out fear.

The problems that were present in peoples lives are still there - they didn't go away because something new has come along.

Yes I am praying against this Virus and the hidden agenda of it (as Jesus himself said - the Thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy - BUT HE JESUS has come to give us LIFE) But I have also a heavy heart to continue to pray for those who have other needs. There is no doubt this thing is stealing, killing and destroying - BUT we must remember that Jesus still gives LIFE.

Many have already been living with pain, under stress, struggling to pay bills, tormented with bullying and abuse and countless many more issues. This is only an added burden - which no-one can carry on their own.

I believe that this is the time for the Children of God who believe his Word to rise up. And I believe that God's Love and His Mercy endures forever - (this sentence is found over 38 times in the bible) That means that God's Love and his Mercy is stronger, and will outlast everything else.

Many churches will be calling for prayer and fasting and I am glad to hear it. America have called a national day of prayer Sunday 15th March. Thousands are gathering in Israel to pray together.

I have set myself to pray and fast, not only about this Virus - but the countless other needs in our land. I'm reaching out through this blog today to ask you to contact me with your prayer requests, I want you to know that God has not forgotten about you and your specific needs. He loves you with such a great love.

We can pray for people in general - and we can pray as the Holy Spirit leads us. But there is something very powerful when we reach out and make a request. The Bible teaches that Jesus healed ALL who came TO him. Maybe you don't know how to come to Jesus, Maybe you feel that your situation is to hopeless, or that it is not important. There is nothing to trivial or to difficult for our God.

This is important to know - it is not the prayers of the people that heals - IT IS GOD THAT ANSWERS - IT IS JESUS THAT HEALS - IT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT WORKS. Jesus said when we are born again, we are adopted into God's family, we are not only Children of God but we are his Church - His body - on the earth to finish the work that he began. So your faith is not in people praying - your faith must be in the GOD WHO ANSWERS prayer.

One powerful weapon that God has given us that we cannot neglect at this time or anytime is PRAISE. He gives strength to us as we worship him. We praise Him for his love towards us and his greatness. When we lift him up - He lifts us up. So I urge you to praise him more and more.

Yesterday, My husband and I were doing a delivery and as we were in the van for the long journey we were talking - but it was all about this virus and we could feel the heaviness and darkness - so we decided to stop talking about it and we started talking about God and the scriptures. There was a light and lightness that came upon us and we were now rejoicing. My husband said to me - "You really love the Gospel Don't you" I thought that was a strange thing to say, because I can't imagine what it is like NOT to love it - who doesn't love GOOD NEWS ? But then I realised that many people don't know the Good news of the Gospel, they know man's version, they know the religious version but have never experienced the TRUE version. That is the greatest need of all in the world today.

The Word of God is GOOD NEWS - to ALL - I don't care who you are, what colour your skin is, what you call yourself or what others call you, I don't care what troubles you or what torments you, I don't care how difficult your situation is - GOD'S LOVE IS GREATER.

I don't even care if you think you believe in God or you say you don't believe in God. HIS LOVE IS STILL GREATER

The 'toilet roll' issue proves to me that ALL OVER THE WORLD - from every nation - we are all the same - with the same basic needs. - God SO LOVED THE WORLD that he gave His Son, to die for us and rise again that WHO-SO-EVER would believe in him, would not perish but have everlasting life.

If you haven't got a church to attend - I urge you today to find a bible teaching church, where you can go to praise and worship and grow in faith. The bible tells us expressly, that in the last days, when we see all these disasters happening we should gather together with God's children even more not less. It is a time to build up our faith, and join together in unity. And Raise up a Battle cry of Praise to the King of kings and Lord of lords.
