Be Still and Know

 click here to listen   Psalm 46:10 KJV Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. This is one of the most comforting scriptures given to the Child of God.  It is quoted so often and many times I had quoted it, without really knowing what it meant.  When a storm arises our first natural response is to panic and fear - but Praise God, there is a better way.  To run into His presence - and find security, refuge, strength and peace.   The greatest lesson I have learned in my walk with God is to sit down, shut up and listen.  To listen to what God says, not what the problem or storm is trying to say.  When I first heard the Holy Spirit say that to me,  I was shaken to the depth of my soul - I discovered very quickly that I had better listen to what God was saying.
