God is Good - HALLELUJAH

God is Good ALL the Time - HALLELUJAH

This is a song we often sing in church - I love the words - but I'm so glad that the songs we sing aren't just about good words and catchy tunes - but they help us to express the wonder and gratitude to our Almighty Father and creator, and Lord and King.  How wonderful it is to be lost in Awe of his majesty, and wonderful and amazing love. When we consider that he has forgiven us and called us his own, we cannot stay silent but yet words fail to express what we feel.  So our whole body is moved - our hands raise up and our feet want to dance.

I used to live in a house where my kitchen window looked out into the back of other houses - and one day I was singing this song and dancing in my kitchen, when I suddenly noticed that my neighbors (the 3 children and the mother) where all standing at their upstairs window watching me - at first I thought I should stop but I didn't because I really didn't care because I am not ashamed of the Gospel and especially not the joy of my salvation. 😊

God is Good all the time
He put a song of praise in my heart

God is Good all the time
Even in the darkest night his light will shine

The Bible tells us that when we feel the spirit of heaviness - (that is fear, negativity, anxiousness, worry, stress etc) coming upon us - we are to put on the garment of praise.  How do we do that?  It speaks of a garment as in a coat - when you put on your coat  - you are covered - you are clothed - and that is what the bible is saying - when we choose to praise him, the atmosphere will be changed around us and we can experience his presence not only fill the room but lifting us up, as he covers us and clothes us with his joy and his peace.

This is the day that the Lord has made - I will rejoice and be glad in in -
Remember circumstances don't change the Word of God - but the Word of God changes circumstances - when we believe.
