Praise God, The Answer is on the way

1 John 5 vs 13 - 15

I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.  And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him, and since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.

Have you ever suffered from the lack of confidence?  I have many times, but there's one thing that I have a held unto and that is confidence in my Heavenly Father.  This little song, which is from the King James Version of 1 John 5 vs 14 and 15. is something I remember from my childhood, it was 1st published in 1972, the year I was born 😀, the composer is unknown, but the words are scripture, inspired by the Holy Spirit.  So they are true and we can have this confidence.

I remember when I was a child, hearing the saints of God saying, after they had prayed "Praise God, The Answer is on the way".  That was confidence, because they knew God had heard their prayer.  They understood how to pray according to the will of God, which is the Word of God, and therefore they had confidence that God would hear and answer.

Many times, our Heavenly Father is working in ways that we cannot see, preparing and working things together, even before we pray.  I can testify to that many times.

If you are being tempted to think that God has forgotten about you or is not listening to you, check if you are praying according to his Word, that is have you a scripture or promise from God that you can base your prayer or petition on.  If you have and you believe that God is who he said he is, then you can have confidence that he hears and he will answer.

When the enemy comes with his lies, boldly and confidently you can answer like Jesus "It is written" and tell that liar what God has said.  Even when our faith is being tried we can have confidence to stand and say "Praise God, The Answer is on the Way"

1 Peter 1:7

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:”
